Dotted Branding
Background: This is a project done during an event at my school called branded. Branded is an event where teams of designers, photographers, and illustrators are paired with social venture teams. These teams have created a business plan that makes money and impacts society in a positive way. They need us to build a whole brand for them and we only have 12 hours to do it. This is the complete brand we created plus some tweaks I added later
The Challenge: The social venture team’s project was a monthly subscription box of tampons, pads, lube, and condoms. The profits from these boxes would then be given out to support grants that help women and children in Bangladesh stay in school. Their primary target demographic is women 20-30 year old, but they also wanted branding that would be gender neutral enough to appeal to men. When I asked them to give me three words to describe their brand they gave me the words clean, fun, and cheeky.
