Hello! My name is Haley Burson and I am a user experience and visual designer based out of Seattle. I’ve always known I wanted to work in design. Growing up I had a love of creativity, logic, and data plus a lot of empathy for those around me. Design has been the perfect career for me as it is the perfect mix of all these skill sets. While my background is in marketing, I love the website design part of my job the most and am looking to grow in my UI/UX experience.
In my free time I volunteer at Seattle ReCreative where I enjoy sorting through vintage pieces that keep me inspired. I also serve on the board of directors for AIGA Seattle as the Emerge Director, where I hope to create a welcoming space for students and emerging designers who want to learn more about the creative industry. When I’m not designing or volunteering, you can find me painting, sewing my own clothing, seeking out cats, enjoying the outdoors, and constantly changing my hair color.
